Faith and Works
[Genuine faith produces good works.] If a brother or sister is without [adequate] clothing and lacks [enough] food for each day, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace [with my blessing], [keep] warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do?
James 2:14–16
What are good works?
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; [and] I was sick, and you visited Me (with help).
Matthew 25:35–36
My life as of today.
- I am sick and I cannot work.
- The sickness is curable.
- I am in pain.
- I have no medicine.
- I have no money.
- I am hungry.
- I am sleeping on the streets.
- I have no family.
- I have no hope.
My future.
With support, I could live inside and I could start working. Without support, I will die. With an income or with support, I could heal. You can give food and health.
