It is difficult to understate the damage the United Kingdom Border Agency inflicted on me. It has been almost five months to the day since I left but merely reading the document below and trying to write about what happened has caused me to shake uncontrollably for the last three hours. I am having non-stop panic attacks. I can barely breathe.
I desperately tried to get medical treatment while I was illegally jailed when I applied for asylum in the UK. The document below failed–just as all of my other attempts failed. I was being held in London, one of the richest cities in the world, but the government, and the corporation running the prison, refused to give me the cheap medications I needed.
