The Iraqi people are weak and helpless

I know that the people of Iraqi are spineless. I can see that they don’t know how to help themselves. It’s obvious that they are wretched creatures that can do nothing right.

Maybe you don’t agree. Maybe you think that just because the people of Iraq have survived 34 years of dictatorship, a 9-year war with Iran, the Gulf War, 12 years of sanctions, gas attacks, political persecution, and other brutal oppression that they must have strength. Maybe you think that the people of Iraq are not helpless.

Strength? Not possible

Bush is their savior. The people of Iraq are weak and helpless and Bush must save them. How can Bush save a group of people that are not helpless? How can he save people that have strength? He can’t. So, the people of Iraq must be helpless.

Jesus saves a helpless soul

In the Christian religion, man is helpless to atone for his sins. Without Jesus, no man can find salvation. Just like Christians are helpless against sin and the devil, so are the Iraqi people helpless against oppression and Saddam. It’s plain to see that the oppression inflicted upon Iraqis is as powerful as eternal damnation. I know that Saddam has the strength of the devil.

Bush is not the savior

To accept Bush as the savior of the Iraqi people, you must accept that the Iraqi people are completely helpless and weak. If you do not accept the Iraqi people as weak, then you must reject Bush as the savior.
