Iraq parliament votes to let someone else vote on deal

The parliament passed a security deal that allows US forces to stay in Iraq past the expiration of the current security deal in December 2008, but it must also be passed by the Iraq President’s Council, and then it must pass a national referendum by July 2009. In short, there is no deal but US forces will stay in Iraq anyway.
