The hardest exam in the world is taken by candidates seeking an Examination Fellowship with All Souls College, University of Oxford, United Kingdom. You may apply to “sit the exam” if you have performed outstandingly well in your academic career. The College accepts applications from both kinds of talented people, those who
- completed a first degree at Oxford or
- have already been accepted as a graduate student at Oxford.
The exam consists of writing essays during a three-hour marathon session, twice a day, for two days. One of the sessions has “general” questions from every area of life. The questions for that session, “General Paper I,” were leaked two weeks before the exam date.
