‘God said she needed to be taken off road’

While a Texas man was driving behind another car, God told him that “the other vehicle was not driving like a Christian and it was Jesus’ will for him to punish the car.” So the man smashed into the car at over 100 miles per hour.

President Bush said to all of us: ‘I am driven with a mission from God’. God would tell me, ‘George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan’. And I did. And then God would tell me ‘George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq’. And I did.”

In all seriousness, why are these two situations not exactly alike? The first man was arrested and forced to have a psychological evaluation. The second man was reelected as President of the United States.

“Bush said to James Robinson: ‘I feel like God wants me to run for President. I can’t explain it, but I sense my country is going to need me. Something is going to happen… I know it won’t be easy on me or my family, but God wants me to do it.'”

If God is a valid excuse for war, then why is it not a valid excuse to ram a car?
